Heaven is a halfpipe

Seeing as it's too rainy to actually skate in London, I've been watching some old videos, dreaming of LA. While browsing the net, I came across this exhibition that was shown in a friend of mine's skateshop in Barcelona, called For The City (FTC).

The artist is known as Apparatu and the project was called 'Skate Fails'...think skating meets Dali. In fact all of his projects have such a Catalonian vibe. I wish I'd been in Barcelona for the exhibition as all the pieces are totally cool!! I especially love the gold, melting board!!

Incredible. First found out about the collective OFWGKTA through some skateboarding footage.



I missed their first ever London show at The Drop last November, which apparently sold out in 48 hours, as it was on my birthday. I decided not to beat myself up about missing the show, like I sometimes do. However, after frontman Tyler the Creator dropped this video yesterday, I literally felt sick to my stomach for not going.

Biggest song/video of 2k11 so far. Unbelievable.
