I have various Sunday morning playlists to try and cheer myself up because I hate the thought of the weekend ending. Normally they're full of Amy Winehouse and Johnny Cash, but since I'm trying to rebuild my music collection after losing my iPod and my laptop breaking, I thought it was time to finally make a new one. The requirements are that it's mellow and nice. Harder than you might think! After raiding my CD collection, I found a mixtape from my friend Jo. Jo's the kinda guy who thinks mixtapes through, from the number of tracks, to the order and themes. Anyway, although every song was amazing, one of my favourite tracks on it was by The Strange Boys. A band who took me a few listens before I got it. I just love the guy's voice. Basically this song is perfect for hanging in bed on Sunday with a brew and the papers.
